First National Bank of Omaha’s “Tower Transformation” aims to give its workers and new talent the opportunity to work differently, think boldly, and to challenge the preconceived notions about what an office should be. Sheppard’s Business Interiors is partnering with RDG Planning & Design on this ongoing, multi‑phase initiative to reimagine how employees work throughout FNBO’s flagship tower. SBI began the project by helping develop a full‑scale showroom showcasing a variety of focused, collaborative, and restorative work settings, allowing teams to experience new ways of working before implementation.

As the transformation progresses, SBI is furnishing the tower with adaptable solutions including Steelcase V.I.A. walls to create private meeting rooms, focus areas, respite spaces, training rooms, and large conference environments. Comfortable ancillary seating and informal collaboration zones offer employees inviting places to gather or step away from their desks. The evolving workplace supports FNBO’s vision for a modern, flexible, and empowered office environment ... one that encourages new ways of thinking and working throughout the organization.
